I left a frosty Donabate this morning before 7am with high expectations heading for Wicklow for a few wintery scenes (frost will do, given the lack of snow this year so far). The snowy scene shown right is one I’ve re-edited in desperation from 5 years ago!!
By the time I reached Bray it was clear the day was not going to turn out as expected. Clouds rolled in from the south east and seemed to leave Dublin clear, but laid a blanket on Wicklow, accompanied by warmer temperatures and disappearing frost:-(
These are the shots I got either way. I was happy to have found a new location at St. Kevin’s Way for another day.
