There may not be an ideal landscape or seascape location, the one you’re at is probably the most important. For me, living 2km from the sea means I really should be out taking seascapes more often. Tonight reminded me how generous the shoreline of the Donabate/Portrane peninsula can be for seascape photography. North, East, South and West are all possible sea views if you stand in the right place.
It will get a bit trickier as winter sets in and the sun sets more to the south west. For now I should really try and get out more often.
Now all I have to do is remember to go to bed earlier, so i can get up for sunrise one of these mornings…
