It seems like the sun will not shine this week, but the melancholy mood needs to be recorded. I listened to the forecast last night and thought I might just catch a glimpse on sunrise before storm Barney hit Ireland today. A thin opening in the cloud cover was closing fast beyond Lambay when I reached the shortline.
Oh well, since I’m here I may as well visit some rock features I have not seen in over a year. Shapes instead of colour was all that was on the menu…
I’d forgotten where I captured a collection of rocks at low tide a few years ago. It’s nice to find them again where I left them!
I really believe practice keeps you prepared for those moments when nature show her best. So even though there was no sunrise, I’ve reminded myself of some great places to take low tide images in the future.
