This morning I managed to get up early enough to enjoy watching the sunrise over Tower Bay, Portrane. I knew the tide was low and rising and the sun was going to have a nice reflection on the rocks at my faviourite spot for these conditions. I probably spent half an hour total taking multiple images to capture the breaking waves, and also a couple of different compositions before I settled on one. The video here shows my Photoshop post processing to create the above blending image from 7 individual images. I’ve skipped the basic Lightroom white balance, basic toning, and lens correction steps which are part of my initial workflow. Hope you find it useful.
