Meeting the EFIAP/silver criteria…

So I’m thinking tonight how many personal and sometimes professional achievements happen quietly and unnoticed. I received salon results today for the BOKA BAY 20201 Montenegro and Serbia circuit salon with a bunch of new images I hastily put together to hopefully close the gap for the required number of new accepted works for the EFIAP Silver distinction criteria. My acceptance rate was low for me but I managed to pick up two awards, and crucially acceptances for new images to bring me over the required 50 mark. So I now have a total of 131 acceptances, 14 awards from 10 countries, 51 new works from salon in 20 countries overall.

Mischkah – GRADAC PGI Honorable mention, Serbia
Moorish Memories – JURY Member Diploma, Montenegro

I am awaiting results from one more salon next week and that will be my final count for this series of images for my EFIAP Silver submission, but today’s results mean I’m over the line barring any calculation errors on my part. Later this month I’ll submit my distinction application, and hopefully by early summer I’ll receive positive word of my successful achivement of EFIAP/Silver. The hard work is done, images planned, travel completed both physically before COVID-19 and virtually to receive acceptances with remote shoot collaborations.
