This week I received news I achieved the EFIAP Silver distinction for works I have entered mostly in the past year to international photographic salons. I’m wondering now would I have put in the work to achieve this had it not been for the confinement of Covid-19. I had previously received my EFIAP Bronze in 2018, and taken a pause since then in my submissions to FIAP salons for about two years. These recent works show some evolution in my work but mainly remain within the genres I’ve always enjoyed shooting. Along the way I managed to pickup a number of awards for 12 of the 51 images accepted in salons for this distinction shown below.
