Last month while visiting Lisbon I arranged my first shoot with the beautiful Diana Mendelson. We had four hours and decided to shoot some indoor and street images in the late afternoon to make the most of the evening light.
Starting indoors we explored the space to find interesting light and space to make some initial images.

With windows to the east and west we were able to capture a number of lighting sytles and play around with posing concepts. The strong setting sun through the window blinds compelled me to take some silhouette images, but I managed to bring in some tonal details to produce the image below.

As ther afternoon progressed we noticed the subtle shift in light and we changed location to the east facing windows downstaris and also made use of the strong graphic shapes of the stairway itself.

The last set of images were beside the window do the east and with the sunlight outside reflecting off nearby buildings, it was enough to give this soft light image below.
