Beauty, Expression, and Form.
On my photographic journey I have enjoyed many subjects and tried to do them justice, initially through technical ability and later through artistic endeavour.
For me, no subject embodies beauty, expression, and form better than working with female models. The dynamic between photographer and model, the challenge of communicating a vision, collaborating and creating a unique image intrigues me every time.
The process goes far beyond recording a scene or composing an image. Occasionally the projects have engaged makeup artists, hair stylists, and designers, each bringing their own creativity to the final image.
In the end, it’s the model who brings life to the image, transforming through expression of an idea, resulting in a moment of beauty.
