EFIAP – Bronze Distinction attained!

I was delighted to learn recently my submission for the EFIAP Bronze distinction was successful. For those unfamiliar with FIAP distinctions, the requirements for EFIAP-Bronze include:

  • Have been the holder of the EFIAP Distinction for at least one year from the date of the diploma for that previous distinction.
  • 200 acceptances, with 50 different works in 5 different countries.
  • 4 photographs awarded in 4 different countries and different salons.

This year all those who have applied for FIAP distinctions will be invited to submit one of their images as a print to the IPF for display as part of an exhibition celebrating our FIAP distinctions. This exhibition will open at 3pm on Saturday 9 June in the FIAP Exhibition Centre.

The exhibition centre is located in the Dublin Camera Club meeting rooms at 10 Lower Camden Street Dublin 2.

I unfortunately will not be able to attend this opening event, but definitely plan on visiting DCC in June to view all applicants works.

Finally, I would like to especially thank Paul Stanley for his amazing work in processing and coordinating all the the annual FIAP submissions from Ireland.

In the end I actually submitted 54 works for my application which you can view below.
